--------------- Sister to Reflection ---------------

Laughter
filled Apartment 46. The fresh memories of their revenge against Xander brought
so much excitement that no one could contain their laughter.
“The
way he wriggled like a larva. I wish I had recorded it.” said the red-haired girl, taking a deep breath.
“Your plan took time, Marian. But in the end, it
was a total success.” said the blonde girl as they high-fived. “I’m good at this. But the deciding factor was patience.
We had to let Xander feel attracted to ‘Danny’ so we could execute it.” Marian
said.
“I don’t think glue will be the sticky liquid they smear on Xander. And
I doubt they’ll use condoms, especially Tomas.” Marian said matter-of-factly. “Ew! Don’t mention those things while we’re eating.” Bondy
complained, hesitating to take another bite of her burger.
“What do you mean by that?” Daniel asked, stopping just as he was about to sip his juice.
“You know. The frat boys are
terrible. They’ll likely have fun with the ‘gift’ we left them in every
depraved way a lustful mind can imagine.” Marian replied, twirling her fingers as she
thought about all the stories fraternity members had shared about their
excessive parties.
“Even if Xander tries to sue them, their rich frat buddies would use
their connections to make sure it doesn’t go anywhere in court.” she concluded, remembering that
Xander wasn’t the only spoiled rich kid at the university. There were a few who
shared his habits.
Daniel fell
into a deep silence, lost in thought. It wasn’t an unfamiliar situation. “We... we can’t let this happen.” he muttered. “Why
not?” the blonde girl exclaimed. “Xander has taken advantage of several students in the same
way, even us. Didn’t we all want to see him humiliated? Don’t you think it’s
fair for him to be in a position of helplessness for once?” Ruby argued.
“Yes, it feels right. I’m glad he’s experiencing what it’s like to be in
our position. But... this... this is too much.” Daniel responded, looking at his sister, who
sipped her orange juice mixed with vodka as if the topic at hand were
irrelevant.
“You said it yourself. The frat boys won’t hesitate to do... that... to
Xander… now that we’ve dressed him up as a girl. Regardless of who he is, do
you think it’s right to let something like that happen to anyone?” Daniel’s concern was clear in his
teary eyes.
“No, of course not.” Marian exclaimed. “But Xander isn’t just
anyone. He’s a harasser, an arrogant, annoying rich kid. What’s going to happen
to him is a result of his actions.” she explained. “You know what happens to abusers in prison. Are you going
to feel sorry for them too?” the
blonde asked, looking at him sternly.
“Don’t you get it? WE are involved in this!” Daniel exclaimed so loudly that they all turned
to look at him. “We dressed him up, tied him up,
and left him in the boys’ locker room. If the frat boys take advantage of him,
it’ll be on us.” he continued.
“Oh, I get it now. You’re scared he’ll sue us. That’s not a problem. We
can use the same methods to make sure he doesn’t come after us.” the blonde explained. “But could you live with that on your conscience, knowing
you handed someone over to a pack of wolves?”
Daniel’s
question struck a chord with the girls. It wasn’t just about legality. They had
long since found ways around the law. In an environment like this, the only
thing that separated good people from opportunists was their values. If they
did the same things as the fraternity boys, they would become what they hated.
Marian
stood up and paced the apartment’s living room slowly, keeping a hand on her
chin.
“We don’t have to give him a taste of his own
medicine. We can give him a different medicine.” she said finally.
“If
you really want to do that, we first need to stop the frat boys from giving him
their ‘medicine’” the redhead
said. “Exactly. We need to save him from
being... mistreated.” Daniel said uneasily.
The blonde
sighed. “We’re 22 years old. We’re adults. We can
say things directly.” She stood up
from the couch to grab her car keys. “Put on
sportswear. We’re going to stop the frat boys from using Xander as their sex
doll.”
Daniel
swallowed hard. “That sounds awful.” the redhead said. “It
looks even worse. Some of the frat members pay me to repair their inflatable
dolls. They’re always broken. They won’t hesitate to do the same to Xander if
they’re drunk enough.” she said,
putting on her jacket and boots.
Daniel felt
a cold sweat run down his back. They were dealing with something serious. His
sister noticed his trembling hands and handed him some of her drink to calm
him. It seemed to work, as he was able to suggest an idea for the plan.
“Tomas probably took Xander to the main fraternity house. It’s on the
outskirts of the city.” Daniel said. “I vaguely remember the
place. Tomas was one of the clients at the tailor shop where I work.” Bondy said, adjusting her jacket. “I remember the address clearly: West Periphery 15,
Kirmen Street, House 515.” Daniel
confirmed.
“Hey,
I don’t think the four of us can take on several frat boys. Barging in could
end badly. Don’t you think it’s better to call the police, explain the
situation, and give them the address?” Ruby suggested.
Marian
shook her head. “We want to do this as
discreetly as possible. Plus, we need to convince Xander not to file lawsuits
against us or the other girls.” she
explained. Ruby thought for a moment but wasn’t convinced.
“We’re the ones who put him in this situation. But I think he’ll be less
angry if we rescue him before Tomas tries to have his way with him.” The thought still gave Daniel
chills.
“Stop saying that.” Daniel said.
Ruby
snapped her fingers when an idea came to her. “We
might need certain tools.” She rummaged through her bag and quickly
pulled out four tubes of lipstick. “Red isn’t my
color.” Marian said, giving one a
glance.
“These
aren’t real lipsticks. They’re pepper spray.” Ruby said, showing a small button on one side
of the tube. “If you press hard enough, it sprays
pepper and chili.” she explained carefully to avoid triggering it. “Did you make these yourself? That’s awesome.” Daniel said, making Ruby blush.
The four girls took the elevator down to the complex's basement, which served as a parking garage. Each apartment had an assigned space, and it didn’t take long to find spot 46. Recently, additional parking spaces had been added outside, but there was an extra fee to use them.
Since the
apartment was close to both the university and the girls’ workplaces, they
didn’t usually need a car, except for Bondy. She used it not only to commute to
her job outside the city but also to organize outings with her friends. Today,
however, they had a mission.
Her car was
a white 1979 Trans-Am. She’d bought it from her father, who sold it to her for
just 100,000 Maygels (about $2,000 in the local currency) because it was an old
car and, of course, because she was his daughter. The four of them fit
perfectly, despite the car being a coupe.
The car
cruised down tree-lined streets on the city outskirts before entering the
nearby town. As they drove along its edge, the sound of electronic music grew
louder. Bondy parked at a considerable distance once they spotted a three-story
house that stood out with its blaring music, multicolored lights, and young
people hanging around everywhere.
“What
are they even celebrating?” Ruby asked. “Their favorite football team
won a championship.” Daniel
explained. “One of the requirements for joining
the fraternity is being a fan of the BlueHats.”
“They’re a terrible team.” Bondy interjected. “Their fans usually
chant racist slogans. Somehow, they won the season this year. It’s
inexplicable.” She didn’t follow
football herself, but her girlfriend did, and they often watched games as a way
to spend time together.
“Stay in the car, Bondy. Ruby and Danny will come with me.” Miriam said, outlining her plan. “There’s always someone having sex at these parties.
Tomas has probably reserved Xander for himself in his room. Danny, do you know
where it is?” she asked, turning
to her brother.
“Sure. It’s on the third floor, at the far end of the hallway to the
right of the stairs.” He still remembered some things despite only having been there a few
times.
“Perfect. Oh, one more thing. We’ll probably
need you to act as a decoy so we can get inside.”
Daniel took
a moment to process what she was asking. “WHAT!?” he exclaimed.
